The challenge
Web, tablet and phone had been built by different teams at different times, and it showed the moment anyone switched device.
Band worked on every platform and felt like a different product on each. Moving from the desktop dashboard to the phone meant learning the thing twice.
We designed one structure and let each platform keep only the differences it earns — the dashboard stays dense, the phone stays direct, and everything in between behaves the same way.
Outcome
The same task now looks the same wherever it is started.
Our own people stopped noticing which device they were on.
